SUMMARY:Polyloid Filmfest: We will survive
DESCRIPTION:IDEAL artspace\, Schulze-Delitzsch-Straße 27\nWe will survive\
nby Nele Dehnenkamp\n28 min | Dokumentation | Deutschland 2018\nEin Strip
en wollen.\n\nA stripper is joyfully oiled up by a nursing home resident\,
caregivers and residents bake Christmas cookies shaped like breasts and m
ale genitalia together\, and during the Sunday afternoon dance\, spring fe
ver sparks even in the autumn of life. The Julie-Roger-Haus is no ordinary
nursing home. In this unique care facility in Germany\, seniors of all se
xual orientations are offered more than just a home in their later years.
The film captures the humorous\, warm\, and at times not entirely conflict
-free daily life in Frankfurt’s rainbow nursing home\, while exploring t
he question of how we wish to live and love in our twilight years.\n\nMehr
