Podumsdiskussion: Zurück zur Zukunft – Degrowth und das Recht auf Stadt

1. November 2018, 19:30 Uhr

Reclaim the city: Housing for Degrowth
How do we want to live? Who can claim the city? In this final event of the Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie series “Back to the future”, we link degrowth and the right to the city. Anitra Nelson and Francois Schneider, editors of “Housing for Degrowth“, are in discussion with book contributor Lina Hurlin from Right-to-the-City-Network Leipzig. What does a socio-ecological imaginary look like? What are the alternatives to renting and more and more smaller apartments? What does the situation look like in Leipzig? How does all this connect to a larger – degrowth – narrative?
The event is held in both English and German with interpretation.
