SUMMARY:Kunstspaziergang / artwalk: Was danach kommt / What comes after…
DESCRIPTION:17. Juli - 12. August 2020\, Eintritt: frei / free admission\n\
 n[english below]\n\n"Was danach kommt…"
iven zum Thema „Was danach kommt… / What comes after…“ einzureiche

 n the east of Leipzig\n\nJuli 17th - August 12th\, 2020\n\nThe corona pan
demic has changed everyone's life considerably. Due to the lockdown and ph
ysical distancing\, artistic work as well as art appreciation were and are
often only possible to a limited extent. Situation-related\, several new
forms of production\, presentation and reception of art have been tested.
At the same time\, this lockdown also brings time and space to reflect on
current challenges\, circumstances and ways of life. And as the temporary
paralysis of entire industries\, previously unthinkable\, has made clear:
there is another way!\nWithin the framework of an open call\, artists with
a focus on photography were invited to submit their personal perspectives
on the topic "Was danach kommt… / What comes after...". A selection of
the received works can be seen in the exhibition of the same name in shop
windows along a route in the east of Leipzig.\nWith the format of an art w
alk that is taking account of the containment measures of the pandemic\, a
total of ten stops along the exhibition route show a variety of artistic
positions. The photographic works offer insights into various aspects of t
ransformation processes and encourage the discussion of different future s
cenarios and utopias.\n\nThe route and information can also be found on th
e digital city map Afeefa: www.leipzig.afeefa.de/search/artwalk\n\nA proje
ct of interaction Leipzig e.V. within the scope of the annual topic "Art i
n Translation". Funded by the Cultural Office of the city of Leipzig – t
